Returns Policy

This policy applies to purchases made in the online store BeautifulCosmetics.co.uk, operated by Fab Trade Group LTD, 112 High Street, TW3 1NA London. Contact: orders@fabtrade.co.uk

§ 6. Withdrawal from the Contract (Returns)

1. A Consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason (CCR 2013). When the Consumer withdraws, the contract is treated as void.
2. The rights in this section also apply to a Sole Trader acting as a consumer (business acting as consumer).
3. The Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods (unless the Store explicitly offers free returns).
4. Withdrawal may be submitted:
   • via the form: /returns-open.html (recommended), or
   • in writing, using the withdrawal template (Annex 2) and sending it to the Seller’s address.
5. The Store promptly confirms receipt of the withdrawal statement on a durable medium.
6. The 14-day withdrawal period begins:
   • for goods – when the Consumer or a third party indicated by the Consumer takes possession of the goods,
   • for goods delivered in parts – upon taking possession of the last part,
   • for regular deliveries – upon taking possession of the first item,
   • for digital content/services not supplied on a tangible medium – on the day the contract is concluded.
7. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (CCR 2013, regulation 28) include: fully performed services with the Consumer’s prior consent; customised or personalised goods; sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once opened; sealed audio/video recordings or software once opened; intangible digital content supplied before the end of the withdrawal period with explicit consent; perishable goods; goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery; newspapers/magazines (except subscriptions); public auctions; and services with a specific performance date (events, non-residential accommodation, vehicle rental, catering).
8. For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns of used, opened, or unsealed products, including cosmetics, perfumes, makeup accessories, and any items intended for direct contact with the body.

§ 7. Effects of Withdrawal

1. The Seller refunds all payments (including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery method) promptly, no later than 14 days from receiving the withdrawal statement, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
2. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or until the Consumer provides proof of return shipment—whichever occurs first.
3. The Consumer must send back the goods without delay, no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal (proof of postage before the deadline is sufficient).
4. The Consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
