- We recommend Evening Primrose Oil to children over 3 years of age and adults to supplement their daily diet with omega-6 acids: linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid, as well as vitamins A and E.
Evening primrose oil is obtained by cold pressing evening primrose seeds. Evening primrose is characterized by a high content of polyunsaturated fats, which include omega-6 acids. Omega-6 acids are: linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) contained in evening primrose oil. Linoleic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 10 g of LA per day.
Vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
Vitamin A helps maintain healthy skin.
